Switzerland: Swiss Shareholder Disclosure Law – FINMA opens consultation period

On April 18, 2016, we informed you about the amendments to the Swiss Shareholder Disclosure Law regarding disclosure of shareholdings which entered into force on January 1, 2016. One of the amendments is the notification duty for legal entities to which voting rights have been delegated. The Swiss Financial market Supervisory Authority FINMA opens consultation on amending the notification duty for parties with the power to exercise voting rights until October 3, 2016.
