Switzerland: FMIA and FMIO-FINMA – Amendments to Swiss Disclosure Law

On January 1, 2016, the new Financial Market Infrastructure Act (FMIA) and its implementing ordinance (FMIO) entered into force. The standards of the FMIA on disclosure of shareholdings are further specified in the Financial Market Infrastructure Ordonnance of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FMIO-FINMA).
