• Zurich and Geneva are also in the top three cities for wages and purchasing power. Kiev, Nairobi and Jakarta are the bottom three.
• Workers in Zurich and Geneva can earn enough in 11 minutes to buy a Big Mac® – the third fastest time. However, food in Zurich is still the priciest in the world.
• Workers in Hong Kong work four hours more a day than those in Paris.
• Earners pay the highest income tax contributions in Copenhagen – 45% on average. Taxes in Zurich average around 7%.
• Zurich haircuts are the second most expensive in the world behind Oslo.
