The investment group UBS AST Real Estate Switzerland (UBS AST-IS) has reported a positive performance of 4.9% for the financial year ending September 30, 2014. The portfolio predominantly comprises residential property (accounting for approximately two thirds of the assets) with a low vacancy rate of 4.3%. With a current market value of around CHF 1.65 billion and consisting of 135 properties, UBS AST-IS is well positioned in the market.

The investment group UBS AST Commercial Real Estate Switzerland (UBS AST-KIS) has reported a solid performance of 5.0% for the financial year ending September 30, 2014. The three-year average performance now stands at 6.0%. The investment group currently comprises 27 office and commercial properties with a broad-based diversification in locations and user types. The portfolio’s market value increased to approximately CHF 416 million over the same period while maintaining a vacancy rate of just 3.8%, which is considered to be low for a purely commercial portfolio.
