Overview

The 28th Reserve Management Seminar (RMS) will be held again in person this year from Sunday, 19 June to Friday, 24 June 2022 at the UBS Conference Center Wolfsberg, Wolfsbergstrasse 15, 8272 Ermatingen, Switzerland

The RMS is recognized as one of the leading events for central banks and sovereign institutions and this year will focus on the recent geopolitical volatility and rising yields that have fundamentally changed the short- and long-term investment outlook.

Central banks and sovereign wealth funds are revising their capital market expectations and are focused on the long-term implications of the recent events. But key questions remain:

  • Is diversification still the right strategy for reserve managers?
  • Will sanctions lead to more fragmentation in global capital markets?
  • How will the role of the USD, EUR and RMB in global reserves be affected?
  • What is the impact of soaring commodity prices on sustainability?
  • What are the right investment strategies to navigate this volatile environment?

These are just some of the questions that will be addressed by our distinguished list of speakers - a range of high-level policy makers from international institutions, central banks and other sovereign institutions who will provide their perspectives on the global economic and financial landscape. We are delighted that former UBS Chairman, Axel A. Weber, will also speaking once again at the event.

For the RMS seminar this year (2022) we are adhering to the Swiss Government rules in regards to Covid.

We very much look forward to seeing you again in person this year as it’s been a while since we’ve all been able to do so.
