New York, NY -- UBS Managing Director, Deirdre Guice Minor, has been named one of the Most Powerful Women in Business by Black Enterprise Magazine. "Deirdre is very deserving of this honor, as she exemplifies what it means to be leader and strong role model in our business. "Deirdre has been instrumental in growing our Public Fund business, which continues to increase market share and provide clients with access to superior investment ideas and performance," said William Ferri, Head of Americas at UBS Asset Management. "I am honored to be among the incredible women on this list who have made such a tremendous difference in their respective industries and firms. This award acknowledges the efforts of all the honorees who serve as a role model to other young African-American women and who made advancements to advance gender and ethnic diversity in the workplace," said Guice Minor.

"Our annual Most Powerful Women in Business feature aims to recognize the nation's most powerful and influential African American women in business," said Derek Dingle, Chief Content Officer at Black Enterprise Magazine. "Deirdre has clearly demonstrated outstanding performance and significant contributions to her firm, and a perfect example of a top female executive transforming the business landscape."
