Zurich, 25 March 2026 – UBS Asset Management (UBS AM) is launching its new UBS Client Voice offering to provide institutional clients with the option to express their AGM voting preferences, in line with their organization’s or beneficiaries’ priorities.
UBS Client Voice is first being rolled out for our institutional clients in Switzerland. The offering is scalable and can be expanded to include further funds and countries over time, subject to regulatory compliance.
Introducing a customized voting option for our Swiss institutional clients
The majority of fund investors in Switzerland have to rely on the proxy voting policy of their fund management company. UBS Client Voice enables institutional clients to apply their own custom policy across all their holdings, and also specify their voting preferences, down to a company level for individual AGM agenda items, if desired.
Client voting preferences are applied based on their proportion of fund holdings, with the fund management company retaining the final decision on votes to ensure alignment with fund objectives and its investors’ best financial interests.
