Collective Foundation 1e

UBS Optio 1e for an individual extra-mandatory part of the second pillar

Benefits at a glance

Joining the UBS Optio 1e Collective Foundation permits the individualization of investment strategies in the extra-mandatory part of the second pillar. Referred to as “1e plans” after Article 1e BVV 2, such plans offer benefits for companies and beneficiaries.

Companies can offer their employees an attractive pension solution and can in part relieve their balance sheet of some pension fund liabilities and risks (as of 01.01.2013, IAS 19 revised is applicable). UBS Optio 1e can reduce pension liabilities for the company as far as is currently possible in Switzerland.

Beneficiaries have their choice of investment strategies with attractive potential returns, transparency as regards asset performance, and the option to change their strategy on a monthly basis.

UBS Asset Management offers some 300 actively managed and 100 indexed funds, with which companies can put together tailor-made investment solutions within the framework of BVV2, be it within the UBS Optio 1e collective foundation or for a company-specific pension fund.

The individual investment variants are implemented via tax effective and cost-efficient UBS collective investments.

Beneficiaries can easily access their investments at any time and change their investment strategy flexibly.
