UBS announced the hiring of financial advisor Austin Lastinger in Newport Beach, CA. He joined the Pacific Desert Market led by Regional Director Lauren Gorsche, Market Executive Justin Frame and Market Director Ryan Hollaender.

Born in Newport Beach, Austin grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. At an early age, Austin’s grandfather unexpectedly passed away, leaving a successful corporation to Austin’s mother and uncle. The trusted advisors that helped his family navigate that difficult transition became like family, spurring Austin’s interest and pursuit in mastering generational wealth transfer.

Austin earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from the University of San Diego. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. He currently sits on the Semester at Sea Board of Trustees with a passion for traveling and giving back.

Austin joins UBS following 10 years at Bailard Wealth Management. He began his career as a Financial Planner and Portfolio Associate before building his business as a Financial Advisor. Austin is married to his beautiful wife, Jessica. They recently had their first child, Lyle, in February. Outside of work, Austin loves golfing, fishing and his dog, Otis.
