Amy Lo is Chairman of Global Wealth Management Asia, Co-Head of Wealth Management Asia Pacific, Head and Chief Executive of UBS Hong Kong, and a Managing Director at UBS. Amy has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Since joining UBS in 1995, she has held a number of senior management positions including Regional Head of Ultra High Net Worth and Global Family Office in Asia. Today, the ultra-high net worth business is the leading wealth manager for ultra-high net worth individuals in the region.

Actively involved in the development of the private banking industry in Hong Kong, Amy chairs the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA), and is a Board Member of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). She is also a member of the Banking Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Education Bureau, a member of the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee Financial Infrastructure Sub-Committee of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation.

A passionate supporter of youth education and technological innovation in Greater China, Amy is a member of The Court and the MBA Advisory Board at The University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Department of Social Work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a Board Member of the UBS Optimus Foundation, the independent grant-making foundation that helps UBS clients improve the education and welfare of children globally.

In recognition of her contribution to the wealth management industry, Amy was named Private Banker of the Year in the Asian Private Banker Awards for Distinction 2020. She also received the Executive Award at the DHL/SCMP Business Awards 2018 for her efforts in building UBS as a corporate citizen in Hong Kong. She was also named by a top-tier Chinese media, China Business News, as one of the "Hong Kong Top 20 in the next 20 years" for her contribution to innovation developments in 2017.

Jon is a key contributor the bank’s daily briefings and research notes for wealth clients, delivering context and actionable views on fast-moving developments that directly impact client portfolios. As a key contributor to the UBS Circle One project, Jon is leading a shift to multimedia research, and helping the bank to reshape now wealthy clients make and execute investment decisions. Prior to UBS, Jon worked as TV host and journalist in China and the APAC region, contributing to CNBC, Reuters and the BBC. He holds an MBA in Corporate finance from Spain’s IE university.

She has over 20 years of related experience in capital markets and has led a number of landmark IPOs, follow-ons and CBs for Asia and China Corporates in HK and in US, including most recently Doosan Robotics Korea IPO, Li Auto US and HK Dual Primary listings, Boss Zhipin US IPO, Lufax US IPO and Meituan HK IPO and follow on financing. She has also led a number of key SPAC and de SPAC transactions including the business combination of Gogoro and Poema Global New, business combination of Silver Crest and Tim Hortons, Frontier’s IPO and subsequent acquisition of United Family Hospital Group in China, the listing of Bridgetown SPAC IPO and most recently Artisan Acquisition Corp’s acquisition of Prenetics.

In her role as Head of Private Financing Markets APAC, she has led a number of notable private equity financing including Lufax, Kingsoft Cloud, Pingan Good Doctor, and most recently Deeproute, Pingcap, Zenlayer, Tigergraph and Snowball.

Selina has a Bachelor of Laws, LLB from University College London, University of London and was a qualified Hong Kong corporate lawyer prior to joining the banking sector.

Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Chu was a Managing Director and the Head of TMT, APAC at Credit Suisse and led the coverage efforts for Alibaba Group and Ant Group, amongst other clients.

Mr. Chu has been involved in a number of landmark transactions, including Alibaba Group's US IPO and Secondary Listing on the HKEx, Netease’s, New Oriental’s, Weibo’s and NIO’s HK listings, and Alibaba’s acquisition of Lazada

He has over 20 years’ experience in innovative satellite companies with roles in both commercial and government organisations. He has held roles as first CEO at Es’hailSat – The Qatar Satellite Company, Vice President at SES of Luxembourg, and employed at AsiaSat in Hong Kong, NATO in the Netherlands and OFCOM in London.

Billy Boyle is an engineering graduate from the University of Cambridge. He is one of the original co-founders of Owlstone Inc, spun out of Cambridge in 2004 with the goal of developing the applications of field asymmetric ion mobility spectroscopy (FAIMS).

Billy started to focus on the medical applications of FAIMS technology after his wife, Kate, was diagnosed and later died of colon cancer as a result of a late diagnosis. He worked closely with clinical partners who integrated FAIMS technology across a broad spectrum of research studies.

Positive results helped to spin-out, and secure initial funding for, Owlstone Medical. With ongoing clinical and commercial success, Billy led this process and became the founding CEO upon the close of a $7M investment in March 2016. The mission of Owlstone Medical is to save 100,000 lives and $1.5B in healthcare costs.

Owlstone Medical has developed Breath Biopsy with the goal of creating non-invasive breath tests to support early detection and precision medicine of diseases including cancer, asthma, COPD and liver disease. Our Breath Biopsy Research Products and Services are available to academic, clinical and pharma research partners who want to develop breath based diagnostics for their own applications. We work with leading academic institutions and industry leaders such as Cleveland Clinic, Astra Zeneca, J&J and GSK with over 100 published papers and posters using Owlstone’s technology. As of 2023, the company has secured over $150M of investment.
Billy received The Royal Academy of Engineering Silver Medal and was a winner of the 2018 MacRobert Award; he was then made a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2020 and an MBE in 2021. He was elected an Industrial Fellow at Trinity Hall Cambridge and Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at King’s College Cambridge in 2022.

Billy sits on the CRUK Early Detection and Diagnosis Research Committee and was previously a judge for the Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Pioneer award and a trustee of the Linacre Institute. He likes to combine a love of running with raising money for charities such as CRUK.

Dr. Hudd has been central to many important technology developments over the last 30 years in the field of digital and inkjet printing, reflecting over 250 patents to his name and recognised for many commercial industry successes.

As a young Rocket Scientist for the MoD, his career has spanned over four decades in developing new disruptive technologies, including successfully commercialising industrial inkjet technology.

In 1996, Dr. Hudd founded Xennia Technology that went on under his leadership to become the world leading industrial inkjet business with uniquely recognised capabilities from chemistry through software to engineering and creating products experiencing explosive market growth.

Dr. Hudd sold Xennia to Royal TenCate in 2008 and in 2013, Dr. Hudd founded Alchemie.

He is also an Associate Professor of Ecology and Biodiversity at the University of Hong Kong, as well as a multi-disciplinary marine ecologist with a focus on coral reef species. Being a practitioner of Science Communication, Dr Baker frequently participates and supports science public outreach events, spreading the awareness of ecosystem conservation beyond the classroom. His most recent appearance on CBS News brought international attention to the coral reefs in Hong Kong and discussed how innovation saves the environment.

Began research on the olfactory sense of nematodes in my doctorate program. Had my paper on the analysis of the mechanism of the olfactory sense of nematodes published in the British journal “Nature” in March 2000.

Produced research achievements that attracted attention from various fields, including demonstration of the preference of nematodes depending on odor concentration, and became the first in the world to succeed in visualizing single protein activation in nematodes in July 2012.

Began to investigate whether nematodes can identify cancer-specific odor in May 2013. While teaching at a university, established Hirotsu Bio Science Inc. in 2016, with the aim of commercializing “N-NOSE,” a test that uses nematodes to enable noninvasive, convenient, inexpensive, highly accurate, early detection of cancer.

Succeeded in making N-NOSE commercially available in January 2020, and have been engaged in energetic efforts to spread this as a primary cancer screening test through awareness-raising activities, etc.

Succeeded in making “N-NOSE plus Pancreas,” the world’s first cancer type-specific test to detect early-stage pancreatic cancer, as the first N-NOSE next-generation test, commercially available in November 2011.
Made “N-NOSE Dogs,” a cancer screening test for dogs developed by applying the technology of “N-NOSE,” commercially available in May 2023.

Chadha has accumulated 17 years of experience in recycling, global trading, mining and supply chain, and prior to founding ACE Green he held senior positions with natural resources conglomerates Trafigura and Vedanta before working in global roles with Singapore-based startups.

Through his work with ACE, Chadha aims to work with players across the battery ecosystem to create sustainable, localized, circular solutions for critical battery materials to ensure a green transition to global electrification.

Vincent Yang is one of the few electric vehicle battery entrepreneurs who are not only capable of in-depth R&D but also boast extensive industrialization experience. He founded PLG, which specializes in the research, production and sales of solid-state battery products, in 2006, and has served as its chairman and CEO ever since. He has dedicated more than twenty years to the lithium battery industry, including seventeen years of research and commercialization of solid-state batteries and led the team to obtain more than 689 patents on battery technology nowadays.

In the early 2000s, Yang was working for UTI, the first lithium battery cell maker in Taiwan, where he successfully developed and implemented the dry winding production method for lithium polymer batteries. This technology continues to be widely applied across the industry and has made significant impact on the current LiB production technology.
He has a wealth of experience in most areas of lithium battery technology and industry development, and his contributions to the industry, especially in the areas of liquid polymer and solid state battery, have been privately compared to those of industrial veteran. He has over 25 years of investment banking experience with transactions across Asia in a wide range of product areas. Prior to joining UBS AG, John worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 20 years from 1996-2016 as Vice Chairman of Asia Coverage and Head of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau coverage and at Bear Stearns Asia Limited for 2 years from 1994-1996.

Tasos, specializes in Decarbonisation strategies supporting clients in formulating Credible and Just Transition Plans and Impact towards Net Zero. In addition, he leads UBS's global Carbon working group and has represented UBS in the global industry Taskforce for Voluntary Carbon Offset Markets and developing UBS’s Carbonplace infrastructure.

Tasos, supports UBS’s Sustainability and Impact Institute contributing in thought leadership and has co-authored “The Green Inflection Point, driving decarbonization of the real economy” and the “Voluntary Carbon Market Primer”.

Tasos, regularly advises regulators and exchanges in APAC to develop the Sustainability Finance agenda including Climate and Risk Management Frameworks, Disclosures, Taxonomies and Carbon market development and is regularly called upon to represent the firm in sustainability conferences. He also represents UBS as a co-chair of HKMA’s Capacity Building Cross Agency Steering Group.
