Amy Lo is Chairman of Global Wealth Management Asia, Co-Head of Wealth Management Asia Pacific, Head and Chief Executive of UBS Hong Kong, and a Managing Director at UBS. Amy has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Since joining UBS in 1995, she has held a number of senior management positions including Regional Head of Ultra High Net Worth and Global Family Office in Asia. Today, the ultra-high net worth business is the leading wealth manager for ultra-high net worth individuals in the region.

Actively involved in the development of the private banking industry in Hong Kong, Amy chairs the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA), and is a Board Member of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). She is also a member of the Banking Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Education Bureau, a member of the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee Financial Infrastructure Sub-Committee of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation.

A passionate supporter of youth education and technological innovation in Greater China, Amy is a member of The Court and the MBA Advisory Board at The University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Department of Social Work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a Board Member of the UBS Optimus Foundation, the independent grant-making foundation that helps UBS clients improve the education and welfare of children globally.

In recognition of her contribution to the wealth management industry, Amy was named Private Banker of the Year in the Asian Private Banker Awards for Distinction 2020. She also received the Executive Award at the DHL/SCMP Business Awards 2018 for her efforts in building UBS as a corporate citizen in Hong Kong. She was also named by a top-tier Chinese media, China Business News, as one of the "Hong Kong Top 20 in the next 20 years" for her contribution to innovation developments in 2017.

Jon Gordon is a cross-asset strategist with the UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office (GWM CIO) in Hong Kong. Jon is a key contributor the bank’s daily briefings and research notes for wealth clients, delivering context and actionable views on fast-moving developments that directly impact client portfolios. As a key contributor to the UBS Circle One project, Jon is leading a shift to multimedia research, and helping the bank to reshape now wealthy clients make and execute investment decisions. Prior to UBS, Jon worked as TV host and journalist in China and the APAC region, contributing to CNBC, Reuters and the BBC. He holds an MBA in Corporate finance from Spain’s IE university.

Selina is the Co-Head of ECM Asia. She has over 20 years of related experience in capital markets and has led a number of landmark IPOs, follow-ons and CBs for Asia and China Corporates in HK and in US, including most recently Doosan Robotics Korea IPO, Li Auto US and HK Dual Primary listings, Boss Zhipin US IPO, Lufax US IPO and Meituan HK IPO and follow on financing. She has also led a number of key SPAC and de SPAC transactions including the business combination of Gogoro and Poema Global New, business combination of Silver Crest and Tim Hortons, Frontier’s IPO and subsequent acquisition of United Family Hospital Group in China, the listing of Bridgetown SPAC IPO and most recently Artisan Acquisition Corp’s acquisition of Prenetics.

In her role as Head of Private Financing Markets APAC, she has led a number of notable private equity financing including Lufax, Kingsoft Cloud, Pingan Good Doctor, and most recently Deeproute, Pingcap, Zenlayer, Tigergraph and Snowball.

Selina has a Bachelor of Laws, LLB from University College London, University of London and was a qualified Hong Kong corporate lawyer prior to joining the banking sector.

Mr. Allan Chu is Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT), APAC at UBS, based in Hong Kong with more than 22 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Chu was a Managing Director and the Head of TMT, APAC at Credit Suisse and led the coverage efforts for Alibaba Group and Ant Group, amongst other clients.

Mr. Chu has been involved in a number of landmark transactions, including Alibaba Group's US IPO and Secondary Listing on the HKEx, Netease’s, New Oriental’s, Weibo’s and NIO’s HK listings, and Alibaba’s acquisition of Lazada

Mr. Chu is a member of the HKEx Listing Review Committee and a Signing Principal for HK IPOs. He holds an MBA degree at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a BS degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Anthony Baker is the CEO of Satellite Vu an earth observation company specializing in providing actionable insights from satellites to address global challenges such as climate change by detecting where we are wasting energy; data that also brings insights to business to make better commercial decisions. Satellite Vu intends to launch a small constellation of infrared satellites to monitor the temperature of any building on the planet in near real time to determine valuable insights into economic activity, energy efficiency and carbon footprint.

He has over 20 years’ experience in innovative satellite companies with roles in both commercial and government organisations. He has held roles as first CEO at Es’hailSat – The Qatar Satellite Company, Vice President at SES of Luxembourg, and employed at AsiaSat in Hong Kong, NATO in the Netherlands and OFCOM in London.

Billy Boyle is an engineering graduate from the University of Cambridge. He is one of the original co-founders of Owlstone Inc, spun out of Cambridge in 2004 with the goal of developing the applications of field asymmetric ion mobility spectroscopy (FAIMS).

Billy started to focus on the medical applications of FAIMS technology after his wife, Kate, was diagnosed and later died of colon cancer as a result of a late diagnosis. He worked closely with clinical partners who integrated FAIMS technology across a broad spectrum of research studies.

Positive results helped to spin-out, and secure initial funding for, Owlstone Medical. With ongoing clinical and commercial success, Billy led this process and became the founding CEO upon the close of a $7M investment in March 2016. The mission of Owlstone Medical is to save 100,000 lives and $1.5B in healthcare costs.

Owlstone Medical has developed Breath Biopsy with the goal of creating non-invasive breath tests to support early detection and precision medicine of diseases including cancer, asthma, COPD and liver disease. Our Breath Biopsy Research Products and Services are available to academic, clinical and pharma research partners who want to develop breath based diagnostics for their own applications. We work with leading academic institutions and industry leaders such as Cleveland Clinic, Astra Zeneca, J&J and GSK with over 100 published papers and posters using Owlstone’s technology. As of 2023, the company has secured over $150M of investment.
Billy received The Royal Academy of Engineering Silver Medal and was a winner of the 2018 MacRobert Award; he was then made a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2020 and an MBE in 2021. He was elected an Industrial Fellow at Trinity Hall Cambridge and Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at King’s College Cambridge in 2022.

Billy sits on the CRUK Early Detection and Diagnosis Research Committee and was previously a judge for the Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Pioneer award and a trustee of the Linacre Institute. He likes to combine a love of running with raising money for charities such as CRUK.

Dr. Hudd has been central to many important technology developments over the last 30 years in the field of digital and inkjet printing, reflecting over 250 patents to his name and recognised for many commercial industry successes.

As a young Rocket Scientist for the MoD, his career has spanned over four decades in developing new disruptive technologies, including successfully commercialising industrial inkjet technology.

In 1996, Dr. Hudd founded Xennia Technology that went on under his leadership to become the world leading industrial inkjet business with uniquely recognised capabilities from chemistry through software to engineering and creating products experiencing explosive market growth.

Dr. Hudd sold Xennia to Royal TenCate in 2008 and in 2013, Dr. Hudd founded Alchemie.

Dr. David Baker is the Chief Scientist and Co-founder of Archireef.

He is also an Associate Professor of Ecology and Biodiversity at the University of Hong Kong, as well as a multi-disciplinary marine ecologist with a focus on coral reef species. Being a practitioner of Science Communication, Dr Baker frequently participates and supports science public outreach events, spreading the awareness of ecosystem conservation beyond the classroom. His most recent appearance on CBS News brought international attention to the coral reefs in Hong Kong and discussed how innovation saves the environment.

Dr. Gao Han is the founder and chairman of Tykhe Capital Group. Dr. Gao has over 25 years of experience across the investment and management of traditional and virtual assets. Prior to founding Tykhe Capital Group, Dr. Gao led the China team of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (HKEX) to design and implement Stock Connect, Bond Connect and various listing products and services. Dr. Gao started his career as a proprietary trader at Goldman Sachs (New York) and went on to head the proprietary trading and investment team at China Investment Corporation (Beijing). Dr. Gao holds a Bachelor degree from Tsinghua University and a Master and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, with research focus in high-performance computing, distributed and parallel computing. Dr. Maikel Rheinstädter is the CEO and co-founder of Synth-Med Biotechnology Inc. Maikel is a native of Germany and received his Ph.D. in physics from Saarland University.

He then held positions at the Research Centre Jülich, Germany, the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble, France, and the University of Göttingen, Germany, before moving to the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA, as a professor. He currently holds the position of full professor of biophysics at McMaster University in Canada. In 2020, he co-founded Synth-Med Biotechnology Inc. as a spin-off of his research, aimed at developing smart, red blood cell-based drugs. He currently serves as the CEO of Synth-Med.

Dr. Mario Michan, CEO & Founder of Daphne Technology, is a visionary leader committed to using technology to address environmental challenges.

He combines his maritime industry background and scientific/engineering expertise to create innovative solutions for reducing industrial greenhouse gas emissions. Before founding Daphne Technology, Mario was a Research Scientist at The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and previously served as an officer in the Colombian Navy and worked as a merchant ship deck and engineer officer. Began research on the olfactory sense of nematodes in my doctorate program. Had my paper on the analysis of the mechanism of the olfactory sense of nematodes published in the British journal “Nature” in March 2000.

Produced research achievements that attracted attention from various fields, including demonstration of the preference of nematodes depending on odor concentration, and became the first in the world to succeed in visualizing single protein activation in nematodes in July 2012.

Began to investigate whether nematodes can identify cancer-specific odor in May 2013. While teaching at a university, established Hirotsu Bio Science Inc. in 2016, with the aim of commercializing “N-NOSE,” a test that uses nematodes to enable noninvasive, convenient, inexpensive, highly accurate, early detection of cancer.

Succeeded in making N-NOSE commercially available in January 2020, and have been engaged in energetic efforts to spread this as a primary cancer screening test through awareness-raising activities, etc.

Succeeded in making “N-NOSE plus Pancreas,” the world’s first cancer type-specific test to detect early-stage pancreatic cancer, as the first N-NOSE next-generation test, commercially available in November 2011.
Made “N-NOSE Dogs,” a cancer screening test for dogs developed by applying the technology of “N-NOSE,” commercially available in May 2023.

Gregory Van is passionate about making investing accessible and at the lowest achievable cost for all investors.

As CEO of Endowus, he is responsible for driving the company’s growth and strategic execution. He started his career in investment banking at UBS, advising and fundraising for private equity and venture capital firms in the Asia Pacific region. Greg then joined Grab in its early days and was part of the pioneer team that launched the firm’s digital payments services across Southeast Asia.

Jane Sun is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Trip.com Group Limited, a leading global travel services company. Ms. Sun joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in 2005, and subsequently served as Chief Operating Officer and Co-President, before she was appointed to the position of CEO in 2016.

In her various senior leadership capacities, Ms. Sun led the company to significant growths in all aspects of the business, including an exponential increase in its market capitalization from USD 1 billion to more than USD 22 billion in 2023.

Ms. Sun has been widely recognized for her extensive experience in operating and managing online travel businesses, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting and operations, and has received numerous accolades in the industry.

Before joining Trip.com Group, Ms. Sun was head of the SEC and External Reporting Division of Applied Materials, Inc. from 1997. Prior to that, she was an audit manager at KPMG LLP in Silicon Valley, California. Ms. Sun earned her Bachelor’s degree (High Honours) from the business school of the University of Florida, and completed her Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the law school of Peking University.

Liran co-founded WEKA in 2013. Today, he guides the company’s long-term vision and strategy as its Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as WEKA’s Chief Technology Officer.

Before establishing WEKA, Liran co-founded and led research and development at social startup Fusic, where he was responsible for the engineering, design, and development of its rich social media application portfolio. Prior to Fusic, Liran was the principal software architect and a founding member of the technical team at XIV Storage Systems before its acquisition by IBM in 2007; he then managed XIV’s hardware and platform teams at IBM for several years.

Before joining XIV, Liran served as a Software Engineer with the rank of Captain in the Israeli Defense Forces for five years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Masa founded Yappa, a 3D modeling technology company, when he was 17 years old, straight out of high school. After running Yappa for 14 years, Masa sold Yappa to what is now ZOZO Inc. Upon joining ZOZO, he served as the CEO of ZOZO Technologies, overseeing technology development and R&D. Later, Masa was appointed as a Board member and COO, leading new product development, including 3D body measuring devices like "the ZOZOSUIT." In 2021, with the vision to drive renewable adoption, Masa co-founded PowerX as its CEO. PowerX specializes in vertically integrated energy storage solutions for the grid and industry. It also provides a unique solution for transferring clean energy across oceans - the Battery Tanker. Currently, PowerX is building one of the largest battery factories in Japan.

Nishchay Chadha is the CEO and co-founder of ACE Green Recycling, an innovative recycling technology platform for battery materials. The company is dually headquartered in Singapore and the USA, and provides sustainable, end-of-life solutions for batteries, creating a closed loop supply chain for these critical materials.

Under Chadha’s leadership, ACE has grown into a global company with approximately 70 professionals located across three continents. The company has developed modular solutions to recycle multiple battery chemistries like LFP, NMC, Lead without Scope I emissions.

Chadha has accumulated 17 years of experience in recycling, global trading, mining and supply chain, and prior to founding ACE Green he held senior positions with natural resources conglomerates Trafigura and Vedanta before working in global roles with Singapore-based startups.

Through his work with ACE, Chadha aims to work with players across the battery ecosystem to create sustainable, localized, circular solutions for critical battery materials to ensure a green transition to global electrification.

Chadha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering degree from the Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad, India and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India.

Michael J. Biercuk is the CEO and Founder of Q-CTRL and a Professor of Quantum Physics and Quantum Technology at the University of Sydney where he also serves as Chief Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems.

Through these roles he has become a globally recognized pioneer in the discipline of quantum control engineering, seeking to make quantum systems perform useful work. Michael earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and his Masters and PhD from Harvard University. He held a research fellowship in the Ion Storage Group at NIST Boulder, and has served as a full-time technical consultant to DARPA, helping to steer government investments in quantum information and advanced computer architectures. Michael is a SXSW and TEDx speaking alumnus and has won multiple awards for research, innovation, and commercial technology development.

After graduated master degree, Ted was working in Oak Technology as Information Systems Manager in USA. In 2002, Ted and his partner Mr. Feng Ou have founded DerbySoft in December. DerbySoft’s both co-founders believe that the electronic distribution world is flat—that in the future, each travel-related company will have its own system(s) enabling it to work with other companies in the travel space. Vincent Yang is one of the few electric vehicle battery entrepreneurs who are not only capable of in-depth R&D but also boast extensive industrialization experience.

Vincent Yang is one of the few electric vehicle battery entrepreneurs who are not only capable of in-depth R&D but also boast extensive industrialization experience. He founded PLG, which specializes in the research, production and sales of solid-state battery products, in 2006, and has served as its chairman and CEO ever since. He has dedicated more than twenty years to the lithium battery industry, including seventeen years of research and commercialization of solid-state batteries and led the team to obtain more than 689 patents on battery technology nowadays.

In the early 2000s, Yang was working for UTI, the first lithium battery cell maker in Taiwan, where he successfully developed and implemented the dry winding production method for lithium polymer batteries. This technology continues to be widely applied across the industry and has made significant impact on the current LiB production technology.
He has a wealth of experience in most areas of lithium battery technology and industry development, and his contributions to the industry, especially in the areas of liquid polymer and solid state battery, have been privately compared to those of industrial veteran. John C. Lee is Vice Chairman and Co-Head of Asia Country Coverage, Global Banking for UBS AG. Mr. Lee joined UBS AG in March 2017 and is currently responsible for senior client coverage and origination efforts for M&A and equity and debt capital markets in the Greater China region.

He has over 25 years of investment banking experience with transactions across Asia in a wide range of product areas. Prior to joining UBS AG, John worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 20 years from 1996-2016 as Vice Chairman of Asia Coverage and Head of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau coverage and at Bear Stearns Asia Limited for 2 years from 1994-1996.

Mr. Lee is currently a Member of the Listing Review Committee of The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited as well as Council Member of The Better Hong Kong Foundation, Council Member for Advisory Council on Career Development for The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Vice Chairman of Hong Kong-Mainland International Investment Society.

Neil and his team are responsible for the origination of corporate finance transactions from within UBS’ massive Wealth Management network in Asia Pacific.

Prior to this, Neil served as an Executive Director at BNP Paribas Hong Kong with the responsibility to originate and to distribute Direct Investment opportunities to Wealth Management clients in Greater China and South East Asia. Before that, Neil served as a Director within the Direct Investment Group, Global Wealth Management for UBS in Hong Kong, with the primary responsibility to distribute private markets products including direct investments in unlisted equity/debt, PE funds, and real estate funds to Wealth Management clients in Greater China. Before starting his career in Wealth Management, Neil spent 10 years in Investment Banking with both country and sector coverage roles in ABN Amro, RBS, and Daiwa Capital Markets.

Neil graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, USA, majoring in Economics and Marketing.

Patricia Yeh is Head of Global Banking, Taiwan. Patricia joined UBS in August 2017 and is currently responsible for client coverage, M&A, and equity/debt capital markets origination efforts in Taiwan. She has over 15 years of investment banking experience with transactions in a wide range of product areas. Prior to joining UBS, Patricia was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 10 years as the key coverage person for BoA's Taiwan Investment Banking business. Patricia holds a BBA in Accounting from National Taiwan University, a Master in Accounting Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from INSEAD. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in California USA.

Patrick Zhang joined Horizons Ventures in 2016 and leads and manages biotechnology and healthcare-related investments. He is trained as a chemical engineer and has worked in various industries, including energy, financial institutions, and investment management. Prior to joining Horizons, Patrick work at Morgan Stanley,where he provided financial advisory services for capital raising and cross-border M&A to his clients. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Mr. McLeod joined G Squared in early 2014 and was elevated to his current role as a Partner and Head of Research of G Squared in late 2015. Mr. McLeod is a member of both the G Squared Executive Team and the firm’s Investment Committee. During his involvement with G Squared, Mr. McLeod has co-led a number of the firm's major investments, including Airbnb, Airwallex, Asana, Brex, Coursera, Databricks, JOKR, Linksquares, Lyft, OpenAI, Pinterest, Snap, Spotify, and Toast, among others.

Prior to joining G Squared, Mr. McLeod worked as both an Analyst at GSV Ventures and an Associate at SuRo Capital [NASDAQ: SSSS], the world’s first publicly traded venture capital fund. Prior to joining GSV, Mr. McLeod spent time in the early part of his career with Merrill Lynch.

Mr. McLeod is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied Global Economics (ISF) with an emphasis on Business, Economics, and Political Economics / Theory. Mr. McLeod also minored in Public Policy through the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley.

Tasos, is Head of Sustainable Finance for Greater China within the APAC Sustainable Finance Office where he is responsible for driving Sustainable Finance business initiatives. His focus is on client and regulatory engagement, thought leadership development, capacity building, and forging strategic partnerships in the sustainability ecosystem.

Tasos, specializes in Decarbonisation strategies supporting clients in formulating Credible and Just Transition Plans and Impact towards Net Zero. In addition, he leads UBS's global Carbon working group and has represented UBS in the global industry Taskforce for Voluntary Carbon Offset Markets and developing UBS’s Carbonplace infrastructure.

Tasos, supports UBS’s Sustainability and Impact Institute contributing in thought leadership and has co-authored “The Green Inflection Point, driving decarbonization of the real economy” and the “Voluntary Carbon Market Primer”.

Tasos, regularly advises regulators and exchanges in APAC to develop the Sustainability Finance agenda including Climate and Risk Management Frameworks, Disclosures, Taxonomies and Carbon market development and is regularly called upon to represent the firm in sustainability conferences. He also represents UBS as a co-chair of HKMA’s Capacity Building Cross Agency Steering Group.

Tasos is a graduate from Imperial College, Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the UK. In addition he holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and certificates in CFA Institute in ESG Investing, Sustainability and Climate Risk from GARP and Circular Economy from Cambridge. Finally, he is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional and a Certified Al Gore Climate Reality Leader speaker.
