Sydney, 22 November 2018 – UBS Asset Management has recently added another global equity fund to its platform

UBS Asset Management is pleased to offer investors another opportunity to harness UBS Asset Management's global capabilities with the recent launch of UBS Emerging Markets Equity Fund1. The Fund now sits alongside UBS Asset Management's other global equity offerings: UBS Clarion Infrastructure Securities Fund and UBS Global High Conviction Fund.

As Aussie investors continue to look offshore to diversify their portfolios, the UBS Emerging Markets Equity Fund offers investors the ability to access a broader opportunity set, with the potential to invest in sectors not represented or not well represented in the Australian market.

Zenith Investment Partners recently reviewed the Fund and awarded it the rating of Highly Recommended in its inaugural review, thus making it the only Highly Recommended emerging market fund in the Zenith database.

Zenith commented in their report "Overall, Zenith believes UBS' equity research professionals are of a high calibre, and notes that analysts are highly experienced, stable and well aligned with investors. In addition, we believe Wong's (Geoffrey Wong the Fund's portfolio manager) ability to leverage the insights and research of the regionally located investment teams to be a key competitive advantage for the Fund."

"We are excited to further expand our international platform by offering the UBS Emerging Markets Equity Fund to Aussie investors," commented Bryce Doherty , Head of UBS Asset Management, Australia and New Zealand.

"The Fund has been very well received by the investment community, with solid inflows and impressively being rated Highly Recommended by Zenith Investment Partners in its inaugural review. We are extremely excited to be bringing the best of our investment capabilities from across the globe to Australian investors. Zenith's strong endorsement highlights that our precision and depth of research over many years in this asset class is of very high quality," he concluded.
