UBS key4 pension 3a offers a purely digital pension solution that you can open within a few minutes in your UBS E-Banking or UBS Mobile Banking. In the digital 3a journey, two share classes belonging to our UBS Vitainvest Funds family are available to you: the passive share class UBS Vitainvest Passive SI by UBS key4 and the (existing) active fund range UBS Vitainvest World/Swiss SI.
No. UBS Vitainvest Passive SI by UBS key4 is an investment fund that can only be purchased via a digital channel.
As a fee-optimized investment solution, the new UBS Vitainvest Passive SI by UBS key4 investment fund is available to clients within the digital 3a journey. The composition of the fund and its running costs (0.25% p.a.) are identical to the existing Q share class UBS Vitainvest Passive SI Q. However, the investment fund differs in having a reduced management fee.
When you take out Vitainvest Passive SI by UBS key4, you opt for a purely digital solution that does not include any other personal consulting services. The two passive share classes also differ in that the “by UBS key4” share classes cannot be transferred to free assets when withdrawn. The other passive share class, on the other hand, can be transferred to the free securities custody account under certain conditions.
In addition, the existing active UBS Vitainvest World/Swiss SI investment funds will also be offered in the digital 3a journey, as these continue to be the option recommended by UBS.
No, UBS Vitainvest Passive SI by UBS key4 investment funds cannot be transferred to free assets. They must be sold upon reaching retirement age. However, the client can choose from a variety of follow-up solutions for new investments at regular conditions outside the pension plan. The active UBS Vitainvest World/Swiss SI and UBS Vitainvest Passive SI Q investment funds can in principle still be transferred to free assets upon retirement (and for all other cash payment reasons such as, for example, IV, self-employment, and permanently leaving Switzerland / cross-border commuters). UBS Vitainvest Passive SI Q investment fund units can only be transferred to a securities custody account in a UBS Advice™ solution or UBS key4 smart investing solution.
The total costs of 0.75% p.a. are comprised of a management fee of 0.50% p.a., and the ongoing fund costs of 0.25% p.a.
The ongoing costs of 0.25% p.a. are applied directly within the fund and charged to the NIV (net inventory value, which is the total value of the fund). The management fee of 0.50% p.a. is charged directly to your Fisca account balance.
