Have you closed all other apps running in the background and is your connection stable? Great! Then we can get started.
- Download the UBS Mobile Banking App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Confirm your identify via video call (have your ID or passport* to hand).
- Sign contracts online.
- Set up secure login via the Access App.
- Top up your prepaid card and get started right away.
*All documents must be final. This means, for example, that we do not accept any outstanding applications for a foreigner's identity card.
Yes, of course. You can open an account during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
And soon we'll be there for you 24/7.
- Minimum age: 12
- Resident in Switzerland
- Passport or ID card* from one of the following countries
- Valid student ID
- For foreigners: residence permit B, C, Ci or L
- Smartphone with camera and iOS version 13 or higher or Android version 10 or higher
- A stable internet connection
*All documents must be final. This means, for example, that we do not accept any outstanding applications for a foreigner's identity card.
- We will send you the (encrypted) contracts by email.
- We will also send you a code for opening the documents in an SMS.
- Please sign them and return them to us in the mail.
- Detailed instructions can be found in the email.
This is probably due to a technical error.
- Please close the App and start over.
- Make sure that your internet connection is stable.
- Check that the number is correct.
- Tap “Request new code”.
- Your answers will be saved for 72 hours, provided the App is still running in the background.
- If you close the App, your data will be lost and you will have to start over.
Make an appointment at a branch, and we will take care of everything in person.
- UBS key4 banking is currently available primarily to new UBS clients.
- But you can still benefit: products from UBS key4, such as UBS key4 gold, can be used via the UBS Mobile Banking App. More products will follow soon.
- UBS key4 banking is currently only available for individuals.
