UBS announced the hiring of Financial Advisor Alfredo Ortiz in Montevideo, Uruguay office. He joins the UBSI Florida Market led by Catherine Lapadula, Market Executive, International Division; Nicolaas Bergengruen, Senior Market Director; and Alejandro Plevak, Market Director.

Ortiz brings more than 23 years of experience in wealth management and private banking advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. He joins UBS from Credicorp Capital – BCP, where he most recently served as Private Banking Director, leading teams of private bankers and relationship managers and overseeing complex client portfolios.

Throughout his career, Ortiz has focused on delivering tailored investment strategies and long-term wealth solutions, with a strong emphasis on portfolio advisory and building trusted client relationships.

Ortiz holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, Peru, and a master’s degree in team management and leadership from ENEB – Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona.
