Tragwerk Luzern – Fachstelle Konsum Sucht und Armut, Lucerne
The association Tragwerk Luzern (formerly Verein Kirchliche Gassenarbeit Luzern) has been supporting people affected by addiction and poverty since 1993 and, with «Paradiesgässli», operates an important service for families living in precarious circumstances. With its free «Listo» program, the organization reaches teenagers and young adults aged 12 to 25 whose family situations are often marked by addiction, poverty, instability and a lack of parental support. These young people face an increased risk of addiction, dropping out of school, debt and social isolation. «Listo» strengthens self‑esteem, social skills and responsible money management. It also provides individual support during the transition from school to work. As a result, many young people find an apprenticeship or successfully complete their education. The aim is to empower them to lead independent and financially self‑sufficient lives.
The continuation of the program in 2026 is being supported with CHF 20,000.
