Project overview
Recent earthquakes in Venezuela have caused significant loss of life, injuries and widespread damage to homes, healthcare facilities and critical infrastructure. Thousands of people are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance, including access to medical care, clean water, essential supplies and psychosocial support.
The UBS Optimus Foundation has launched a fundraising appeal to support earthquake relief and recovery efforts in affected communities.
To support this response, we are working with Americares, a longstanding humanitarian partner with extensive experience delivering emergency health and relief services in crisis situations.
Donations will help provide:
- Essential medicines and medical supplies
- Emergency and trauma care
- Safe water, sanitation and hygiene support
- Mental health and psychosocial services
- Support for hospitals, clinics and frontline health workers
The UBS Optimus Foundation will match all eligible donations by an additional 10%, helping increase the impact of your contribution.
A team of experts works closely with our partners to direct funding where needs are most urgent and to monitor the effectiveness of the response.
