The transition from school to working life is a particularly challenging time. Personal mentors support disadvantaged young people, strengthen their confidence in their abilities and help them find their place in the workforce.
Young people gain guidance and practical support. With a trusted mentor by their side, they are better equipped to navigate the transition into working life.

Making higher education accessible to talented young people
Many young people dream of becoming an engineer or a teacher. Yet they often lack the financial means to pursue higher education.
Individual financial assistance helps young people across several African countries access higher education. In the long term, it enables them to earn a stable income and build an independent future.
