Head Region South-West Germany:  Christian Funke

Christian Funke joined UBS in 2012 and has since been responsible for wealth management at the traditional Swiss bank in Baden-Württemberg. For almost three decades, he has been supporting wealthy entrepreneurial families and institutional clients in the region, where he has deep roots.

In addition to serving on external advisory boards, Funke is also a founding board member of "Fürs Käpsele e.V.," an association that supports children and young people from financially disadvantaged families. In his spare time, he is a passionate cook, an alpine skier in the mountains and a convinced classic car enthusiast. He lives in Stuttgart with his wife and two sons.

Under the leadership of Christian Funke, the UBS Stuttgart branch consistently combines the personal touch of a private bank with the qualities of a global financial services provider. Together with his team, over 900 analysts in more than 50 countries worldwide and a powerful investment bank, Funke keeps an eye on the financial markets for his clients around the clock.
