What do I need to do if my V PAY / Maestro card is lost, stolen or stops working?

If your debit card is lost or stolen, block it immediately. If your card stops working, you can order a new one in E-bBnking and Mobile Banking.

Blocking a debit card via E-Banking / Mobile Banking is free of charge.

1. Log on to E-Banking.

2. Navigate to “Cards > Debit cards > Settings & Services”.

3. Click “Block card” and follow the instructions. The card will be blocked immediately, and you will receive a replacement card by mail.

If your card does not work, order a replacement card by clicking on “Replace card” and follow the instructions.

  1. Log on to the Mobile Banking App.
  2. Navigate to “Settings > Settings & Security > Cards > Manage cards” and select the corresponding card.
  3. Click “Block card” and follow the instructions. The card will be blocked immediately, and you will receive a replacement card by mail.

If your card does not work, order a replacement card in E-Banking.

Charges for blocking cards

  • Blocking via E-Banking/Mobile Banking: Free of charge
  • Charge to block each card by telephone: CHF 40
  • Charge for a replacement card: CHF 20
