In recent weeks, UBS apprentices have celebrated successfully completing their apprenticeships at seven events in Switzerland.
By completing their apprenticeship, 274 graduates have reached an important milestone in their professional career. UBS congratulated these graduates for their achievement at celebrations throughout Switzerland. In addition, 295 new apprentices were welcomed to the company.
The largest of the graduation celebrations took place in Zurich on July 14, 2017. A total of 110 graduates, their family members and their mentors during the apprenticeship celebrated at a location fitting for the occasion, the Swissôtel in Oerlikon. The highlight of the evening was the guest speaker, the mountain climber, outdoor photographer and writer Thomas Ulrich.
While some of the apprentices were celebrating their graduation, another 295 young people started their apprenticeships on August 2, 2017. On September 1, another 105 high-school graduates started their training at the bank.
