This index was the first of its kind: built to showcase and disclose efforts in working towards gender equality, so that investors can make informed decisions. Index criteria is submitted through a survey that collects data based on gender statistics, company policies, resources and opportunities provided for women clients, and community engagement.

"The honor of being selected for the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index for the third consecutive year is particularly meaningful because it underscores our ongoing focus on inclusion and our efforts to recruit, promote and retain more women," says Stefan Seiler, Group Head Human Resources. "I'm proud that UBS is recognized with this best-in-class distinction."
