2026 at a glance

Thousands of minds. Nine locations. One AI mission.

  • The symposium took place across nine locations worldwide: Hong Kong, London, New York, Poland (simultaneously in Krakow and Wroclaw), Pune, Raleigh, Shanghai, Singapore and Zurich.
  • This year marks the third edition of the event series with 3,800 participants worldwide.
  • Attendees explored over 150  demos and showcases of UBS AI use cases.

The next phase of our AI journey is not just about new technology. It's about turning breakthrough ideas into tangible impact and scaling what works across the firm. Now in its third year, the UBS AI Expert Symposium brings together colleagues from across the business who are using AI to solve real business challenges, unlock new opportunities and reimagine the way we work.

One of the most valuable aspects of the symposium was the opportunity to connect directly with colleagues who are building and applying AI solutions across the firm. That experience was a common thread throughout this year's symposium series: the opportunity to connect with the people turning AI ideas into real business outcomes.

The biggest takeaway for me wasn't just what AI can do. It was seeing what's already working across UBS, meeting the people behind the solutions and exploring how we can build on their success.

Stephen Moore, Head C&ORC IB and NCL Data, AI and Technology Innovation

Beyond learning from one another, participants were joined by senior leaders, as well as industry experts, who shared perspectives on the opportunities, challenges and future of AI at UBS and beyond. Through keynote presentations, expert-led discussions and hands-on sessions, colleagues explored how AI is already delivering value today while identifying new opportunities for tomorrow.

The conversations may have taken place across nine locations, but they shared a common goal: helping successful ideas travel further and faster, so that as UBS continues the largest AI mobilization in its history, expertise can become capability and innovation can become impact.
