Good to know: You can also select shortcuts like "pay" by long-pressing the app symbol.

With a widget on the lock screen, you can have access to various UBS TWINT functions at your fingertips. For example, quick access to the QR code scanner.
How to set up widgets:
- Long-press the lock screen and then tap "Customize".
- Select the lock screen you wish to customize and tap the area under the time; the "Add widgets" menu will appear.
- Search in the app list for UBS TWINT.
- Select the UBS TWINT widget you want and drag it to the widget area.
- Save by tapping "Done.

With a widget on the home screen, you have faster access to UBS TWINT functions, like paying, sending money, requesting money or paying for parking.
How to set up widgets:
- Long-press an empty area on the home screen of your iPhone.
- Tap the "+" symbol on the top-left part of the screen.
- Search in the app list for UBS TWINT.
- Select the UBS TWINT widget you want and tap "Add widget" or drag it to the area you want it on your home screen.
You can open your favorite TWINT functions even quicker with UBS TWINT controls on your lock screen. Unlike widgets on the lock screen, these controls replace the standard camera and flashlight controls.
Good to know: You can still access the camera quickly by swiping from right to left on the lock screen—even without the camera control. This means you can safely replace the camera control with a UBS TWINT control.

How to set up controls on the lock screen:
- Touch and hold the lock screen for a few seconds, then click “Customize”.
- Select the lock screen you want to adjust and then click the “-” symbol next to the control that you would like to replace (camera and flashlight are configured by default).
- Click the now-empty control slot and search for UBS TWINT in the controls gallery.
- Select the UBS TWINT control you want to add.
- To save your changes, click “Done”.
Discover three easy ways to quickly open the UBS TWINT QR code scanner – with shortcuts or by tapping the back of your iPhone.

To set up a Siri shortcut to open the QR code scanner, you can follow these steps:
- Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
- Tap the "+" symbol top right and select "Add action".
- Search for UBS TWINT and select "Pay".
- Tap "Done" to save.

With your iPhone 15 or newer, you can also set the Action Button to trigger a saved Shortcut like "Pay". Follow these steps to set up the Action Button in this way:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone and search for "Action Button".
- Select "Shortcut" as the action that you want the Action Button to trigger.
- Then select your newly created "Pay" shortcut and save.
Now you can simply press the Action Button and quickly and easily pay with UBS TWINT.

For older iPhones, you can set it up so it opens the QR code scanner when you tap the back of the iPhone. Here's how it works:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone and search for "Back Tap".
- Tap the "Back Tap" setting and then select "Double Tap".
- Scroll down and search under "Shortcuts" for "Pay".
- Close the settings and try it out by tapping twice on the back of your iPhone – now the UBS TWINT QR code scanner should open.

With the tiles function, you can more comfortably access UBS TWINT and its functions. And you can do this directly from the lock screen by opening the notification center there. On certain Android models, you can also place the tiles directly on the lock screen to access UBS TWINT functions even faster.
How to set up tiles:
- Swipe down to open the notification center and then swipe again to open all tiles for Quick Settings.
- Now swipe left until you see a plus icon, a pencil icon, or an edit button.
- Look for the UBS TWINT tiles.
- Drag the UBS TWINT tile you want to add to the available tile area.

With a widget on the home screen, you have faster access to the various UBS TWINT app functions.
