Why are we moving

Our very own UBS building

This new state-of-the-art office complex is where we intend to bring majority of our staff together in a single campus location in the heart of the city. We hope that our staff will be able to benefit from and enjoy a future-ready workplace with the latest modern facilities that promote well-being.

At the same time, we want to provide the best-in-class client experience where our clients can benefit from an enhanced access to UBS's integrated bank and global expertise under one roof.

One Singapore team under one roof

UBS has grown over the last 50 years to become a leading foreign financial institution in Singapore. Today, UBS has close to 4,000 full-time and contracted people working across all of its businesses and across all of Singapore. Therefore, UBS' position in Singapore is a strategic priority.

The move to 9 Penang Road will allow us to house our colleagues currently working at One Raffles Quay and Suntec City together under one roof allowing for enhanced collaboration and efficiency. Hansa Point at Changi will continue to remain as the Corporate Center services hub and our primary BCP site.

The new premises will also be home to our UBS University, where we will continue to lead the training and development programs for colleagues across the region.

Future-ready, high-tech and sustainable

We want our staff to work in a future-ready workplace, with the latest connectivity and health and well-being facilities. 9 Penang Road will offer an ideal environment which enhances the way we work and collaborate. The new building's energy-efficient and future-proof construction will help UBS operate in line with the highest environmental standards.

As sole tenant, UBS Singapore will have full control of building security, which will feature a single-entry system including facial recognition technology.
