A decade on from the outbreak of the global economic and financial crisis, the state of shock has subsided. The course has been set for a new reality, but there is as yet no sign of a return to normality. Central banks are curtailing their unconventional measures, signs of consolidation are emerging in the finance sector, regulatory projects are being finalised, corporate cultures are evolving and fintech is changing processes and business models.

What shape will this new balance ultimately take? What is needed to ensure the Swiss financial centre continues to thrive in these new circumstances and remains among the top international echelon?

With the theme “Towards a New Balance – Collaboration, Courage, Trust”, seasoned experts both from Switzerland and abroad will discuss the new reality in the finance sector at the NZZ Swiss International Finance Forum 2018. Experienced key players will explore possible future scenarios and share their personal assessment of the situation on the financial market.

The Swiss International Finance Forum, founded by leading Swiss newspaper NZZ and held in conjunction with partners including UBS, has established itself as a leading international platform for the financial and capital markets industries.

This year's conference will take place on 25 October, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Kaufleuten in Zurich.
