Tobias Wehrli

Tobias Wehrli

Country Head, Jersey, Channel Islands

Tobias Wehrli is the Country Head for Jersey, Channel Islands, a role he took on in 2023. Having recently moved from Zurich, Switzerland, Tobias brings over 25 years of UBS experience and a real passion for working with people from all walks of life.

Tobias started his UBS journey back in 1998 as a graduate in Zurich, working in the Wealth Planning team and helping clients with everything from relocation to financial and estate planning. Along the way, he picked up an Executive Master of Finance from the University of Zurich, a Master of Law in International Tax from Vienna University of Economics & Business Administration, and later, a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Rochester in the USA.

Throughout his career, Tobias has taken on a range of roles, leading teams across Europe and emerging markets. He ran the Wealth Planning team until 2017, then became Head of Ultra-High Net Worth and Global Family Office for Greece and Cyprus, working with clients and families with complex needs. In 2020, he stepped up as Market Head Wealth Management and Head Global Family and Institutional Wealth for Greece & Cyprus, where he helped drive growth, restructure the business, and bring in new talent.

When he’s not at work, you’ll find Tobias exploring new places, spending time with his family, or getting involved in local life.

Nick joined UBS Global Wealth Management in Jersey as Head of Private Clients in 2024. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Nick specializes in providing investment management solutions to high and ultra-high net worth clients across Europe and the Middle East.

Nick leads a talented team of Client Advisers, focused on growing and developing our strong local franchise with private clients, trust companies, and family offices. His leadership is marked by a commitment to exceptional client service and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the Jersey market.

Nick began his career in 1999 as a Financial Planning Manager at HSBC in London, later moving to Dubai to join HSBC Expat’s offshore investment team. He has since built a diverse background in investment management, business risk, operations, product management, and client relationship building. Before joining UBS, Nick was Head of Governance at Brevan Howard in Jersey, overseeing governance for the Jersey-based business and working closely with the board of directors. He has also held senior leadership roles at the Royal Bank of Canada, including Head of Investment Counsellors, where he led teams in Jersey and London.

Nick holds a BA (Hons) in Business Banking from the University of Wales. Throughout his career, he has also obtained a Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association, a Financial Planning Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute, and a Private Clients Investment Advice & Management Certificate from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He is also a member of the syllabus panel for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and industry development.

Nick’s extensive experience and dedication to his clients make him a valuable addition to UBS in Jersey. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the island, spending time with family, and staying active in the local community.

Tina Bee

Tina Bee

Tina brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. She joined UBS from HSBC Private Bank, where she spent five years as a Senior Relationship Manager in the Jersey office, working closely with high‑net‑worth clients and leading the bank’s Women in Wealth initiative.

Prior to HSBC, Tina held Wealth Manager and Relationship Manager roles at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, building strong expertise in managing complex client needs. She began her career in financial services in 2006 as a Business Development Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland International.

Stephen Coelho

Stephen Coelho

Stephen holds a BA from Durham University and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments. He joined UBS directly after graduating from university in 2017.

Since 2021, he has been managing a client book of predominantly local entrepreneurs and professionals, building strong relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions. In 2021, Stephen was recognised for his outstanding achievement in the CISI Level 6 Private Client Investment Advice & Management examination, earning the highest mark globally across both sittings of the exam that year. His dedication and expertise were further acknowledged in 2022, when he was named ‘Rising Star in Banking’ at the Jersey Finance Rising Star Awards.

Outside the office, Stephen leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing tennis, padel and golf, and can often be found exploring Jersey’s scenic country lanes and cliff paths.

Ruse Gecaite-Fielding

Rusne Gecaite-Fielding

Rusne joined UBS Wealth Management in Jersey in 2020, embarking on a new adventure just as the world was heading into a global lockdown. Before relocating, she gained valuable experience at private bank Mirabaud in Geneva, right in the heart of Swiss finance. Rusne holds the CISI Level 6 Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Her academic journey in International Relations and Political Science took her across Lithuania, Belgium, and South Korea, giving her a truly global perspective.

Now based in Jersey, Rusne works as a client advisor, looking after the wealth of local private clients and trust companies. She is dedicated to helping clients preserve and grow their wealth, guiding them through every stage of their financial journey. Rusne is passionate about building lasting relationships and making a positive impact on her clients’ lives. Outside of work, she is an enthusiastic traveler, tennis player, and golfer, and she loves skiing, snowboarding, and spending quality time with her family.

Since joining UBS in 2024, following his master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh, Tom has become a valued and trusted member of the UBS Jersey Wealth Management team. Starting his career on the UBS Jersey Graduate Talent Program, Tom is currently a Client Account Manager, servicing high and ultra-high-net-worth clients, providing execution of banking services and tailored investment solutions. Recognised for his thoughtful approach and strong communication skills, Tom has built lasting relationships with private clients and corporate service providers, alike. Tom continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening UBS’s presence within the local Trust and Intermediary market.
