1 Calculated as of 31.12.18 on a headcount basis of 68,338 internal employees only (2017: 62,558) unless specified to be on a full-time equivalent (FTE) basis, where we include proportionate numbers of part-time employees.


2 The increase in workforce in 2018 was mainly due to insourcing initiatives and was more than offset by a decrease in external staff.
