UBS Asset Management presents the 32nd UBS Reserve Management Seminar (RMS) our annual flagship forum for sovereign institutions.

For over three decades, the RMS has been one of the industry’s most respected and longest running events. Today, it brings together around 60 institutions from more than 40 countries, making it a unique platform for high-level dialogue, peer exchange and strategic insight.

This year’s program will once again feature a distinguished lineup of internal and external speakers addressing the themes shaping the global macroeconomic and policy landscape. Among the key questions we will explore:

• Reserve Management Dynamics: Will diversification away from the USD accelerate? What roles will the euro, renminbi and gold play going forward?
• Global Fragmentation & Policy Divergence: How are sovereign institutions navigating persistent geopolitical tensions and emerging regional blocks?

• Debt Overhang & Fiscal Pressures: How are sovereign issuers managing rising debt burdens and refinancing risks, and what does it mean for yields?
• Technology & Innovation: What are the implications of CBDCs, tokenization and AI for reserve management and markets?
• Climate & Sustainability: How are ESG frameworks evolving in sovereign portfolios?

Notable contributors will include Axel A. Weber, former Chairman of the UBS Board of Directors; Jacob Frenkel, former Governor of the Bank of Israel; Klaas Knot, Former Governor of De Nederlandsche Bank; Niall Ferguson, historian and author; Paul Donovan, Global Chief Economist at UBS; and Massimiliano Castelli, Head of Strategy for Sovereign Institutions at UBS Asset Management, alongside senior policymakers and experts from international organizations and central banks.
