  • Candidates should possess the following:
    • a bachelor's degree
    • an entrepreneurial mindset
    • a proven track record of professional success
    • motivation to deliver the best client experience
    • strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • keen analytical skills
    • 5+ years of work experience, preferred
    • further professional qualifications MBA, CFA, JD, CPA, CFP®, preferred
    • active series 7 and 66 licenses, preferred

The three-year program focuses on client acquisition, client discovery, financial planning, and relationship management. Other topics include: UBS value proposition & wealth management process, UBS client experience, and investment knowledge. The program will help you gather clients and give you tools to help them achieve their financial goals. 

The first year consists of two phases: a pre-production training phase and an in-production phase.

Phase 1: Pre-production training phase

  • Unlicensed participants will have 12 weeks of in-branch training (eight weeks dedicated to licensing and four weeks of in-branch virtual training). Participants who are fully licensed upon hire will participate in four weeks of in-branch virtual training only.
  •  The in-branch virtual training will be followed by:
    • A two-week workshop onsite in Weehawken, NJ
    • Five additional weeks of in-branch training
    • A second two-week workshop onsite in Weehawken, NJ

Phase 2: In-production phase

  • After completion of the pre-production training phase, participants will enter the production phase as Financial Advisors. During the next eight weeks of implementation there will be a particular emphasis on coaching from the experienced Financial Advisor(s) on the team.
  • Participants will then return to our headquarters in Weehawken, NJ, for a one-week Application Workshop, which will include a capstone client conversation assessment.

During the second and third years, the firm will provide additional opportunities for continued development and peer share including coaching and annual conferences.
