Our Apprentice Scheme is designed especially for school leavers and is a great opportunity to start your career in financial services and gain a professional qualification while you work.

From Technology and Operations, through to Equities, Wealth Management and Compliance & Operational Risk Control, there’s a fantastic range of opportunities available for you to join us full time.

In addition to the exciting challenges from your day-to-day role, you’ll also receive classroom based training on a variety of technical and behavioral topics to set you up for success in the world of UBS. You’ll also work towards acquiring a professional qualification recognized in your industry of choice.

Application requirements

To be considered for our program, you'll need:

  • B or Level 5 or 6 in Maths and English Language GCSE
  • BCC at A-level (104 UCAS points or equivalent)

Within Technology Services you will help maintain the stability of our technology platforms which are critical to enabling our business areas to service our clients across all products and asset classes. Foreign Exchange, Rates and Credit

You'll get the opportunity to work in one of the following teams within the foreign exchange, rates and credit (FRC) division of the investment bank:

Foreign exchange (FX) sales
Interest rate trading
EMEA client office

The client base you would potentially cover includes hedge funds and asset managers to insurance companies and banks as well as pension funds and global family offices and many more across FRC.

Human Resources support the business strategy by helping us achieve sustainable business performance and be globally recognized for developing leaders. HR is made up of central and divisionally aligned teams that touch every aspect of an employee’s experience, from recruitment to retirement.

In our world, activities are diverse. We support the Group CEO and senior management in strategy development, implementation and monitoring via the Corporate Development function. We produce and analyze regulatory, financial and management accounts and reports. We coordinate the financial planning process and help senior management make decisions. We manage tax affairs, control liquidity and funding risks, as well as manage capital to make sure we meet our statutory obligations.
