ART SG, Southeast Asia's leading international art fair, returns to Singapore for its second edition on 19 - 21 January 2024 (VIP Preview 18 January) with an exceptional line up of established and upcoming galleries, representing the best of Singapore, Southeast Asian, and international contemporary art.

Eko Nugroho to create commissions in the UBS Lounge and the UBS Art Studio at ART SG 2024
The UBS Art Collection will present 'Hands with Sunrise' by Indonesian artist Eko Nugroho in the UBS Lounge at ART SG. Focusing on themes of community and environmental awareness, this presentation consists of embroidered paintings, artworks made with upcycled materials and the commissioned installation, 'Guarding Sunrise in Mind' (2023), which attempts to welcome the future with a new spirit of optimism.
In the publicly accessible UBS Art Studio on level 1 of the fair, Nugroho’s interactive project 'We Are Here Now', commissioned by the UBS Art Collection, aims to raise awareness and highlight the urgency of global waste issues. The artist believes that the world needs people’s actions to find unique solutions to solve these problems. The installation requires participation to be complete, serving as a reminder that society as a whole can partake in environmental protection.
