Closer presents a selection of multimedia works in the UBS Art Collection by artists from around the world. This display explores the subject of intimacy through painting, photography, sculpture and video. The featured works, distinctly personal yet linked to broader cultural contexts, reflect emotions, vulnerability and interpersonal connections, revealing different types of relationships. Encompassing themes and motifs such as familial bonds, romantic love, the human form, appreciation for nature and inclusion, this presentation invites viewers to consider their own sentiments and desires and draw closer to both the works and to one another.
