Returning to the Grand Palais for its fifth edition, Art Basel Paris runs from October 23–25, following Preview Days on October 21–22. The fair brings together 211 galleries from 41 countries and territories across its Galeries, Emergence and Premise sectors.
The 2026 edition is the first under new Director Karim Crippa, who takes the helm as the fair deepens its ties with the international gallery community and the cultural life of Paris.
Alongside the gallery presentations, Oh La La! returns on October 23–24. Guest collaborator Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu will art direct the rehang around Myths and Legends, inviting visitors to discover new associations across the fair.
The fair’s Conversations program also debuts in the Grand Palais Auditorium, bringing leading voices from art and culture together for talks and one-to-one encounters.
Adding to the week’s energy, the UBS Art Collection presents Earthly Paradise: Nature Reimagined in the UBS Lounge. This selection of works from the Collection explores the enduring relationship between art and the natural world. Showcasing artists across generations, geographies and disciplines, the presentation reimagines landscape as a space where memory, imagination and experience converge.

Within easy reach of the Grand Palais, museums, historic landmarks and cultural institutions offer a natural extension to a day at the fair, with exhibitions, installations and encounters throughout central Paris.
Art Basel Paris’s Public Program returns in partnership with leading Parisian institutions and with Miu Miu as Official Partner, exploring connections between contemporary art, architecture, performance, literature and public space.
Among the first announced projects is Geste de Consolation, an exhibition by filmmaker Alice Diop at the Palais d’Iéna. Bringing together film, photography, sculpture, literature and performance, it considers representation, cultural memory and acts of consolation through works by UBS Art Collection artists including Zanele Muholi, Simone Leigh and Tracey Emin.

Leading Paris museums exhibit works by artists represented in the UBS Art Collection. At the Grand Palais, Cézanne and Us places Pablo Picasso and Peter Doig in dialogue with Cézanne; the Musée du Luxembourg reveals another side of Andy Warhol in Line and Image; and the Bourse de Commerce presents Cindy Sherman and Wolfgang Tillmans in Remember Me.
The Musée d’Orsay hosts Jenny Holzer’s J’ai vu, while the Fondation Cartier presents Ibrahim Mahama’s The Harvest Season. Together, these exhibitions highlight the breadth and diversity of the Collection at some of the capital’s foremost institutions.
