UBS is proud to celebrate Chankalun (Karen Chan), a pioneering artist working in the historically male-dominated artform of neon. Neon is an artisanal craft requiring meticulous precision at every step. It embodies the essence of handcrafted excellence, and Chankalun is a true champion of the craft.

Commissioned by UBS for Art Basel, Chankalun’s two unique artworks serve as a testament to Hong Kong's resilience and determination, echoing the unwavering spirit of the Lion Rock.

Inspired by the graceful curves of traditional Chinese fans, "Evening Sun on Lion Rock" eloquently symbolize the people of Hong Kong’s ability to adapt and endure, bridging the past with the present in a luminous display of unity and strength.

To enhance this fusion of tradition and modernity, the color palette of orange, cobalt blue and white reimagines classic blue and white porcelain as contemporary neon pieces pulsating with warmth and energy. The hues dance in electric brilliance, capturing the dynamism of Hong Kong's identity.

瑞銀集團欣然呈獻先鋒霓虹燈藝術家陳家倫的作品。霓虹燈是一門獨特的工藝，製作過程的每個步驟都必須精確細緻，充分體現手工製作的精髓。陳家倫在歷來以男性為主導的霓虹燈藝術中脫穎而出，以卓越的技藝和風格傳承並引領這門工藝。

陳家倫受瑞銀委約於巴塞爾藝術展創作了兩件非凡的作品，它們代表香港堅忍不拔、奮鬥向上的力量，呼應恆久的獅子山精神。

「夕照獅子山」的靈感來自中國傳統扇子的優雅曲線，以流暢的姿態表現香港人的適應能力和韌性，閃耀的光芒連接過去與現在，彰顯團結和力量的輝煌。

傳統與現代在作品中和諧融合，橙、鈷藍和白色重新詮釋經典的青花瓷工藝，將其轉化為充滿溫暖和能量的當代霓虹燈作品。多樣的色彩在電光中舞動，正是香港永恆活力的象徵。
