External Staff Vetting Document Library

A copy of this declaration must be signed by a supplier representative for each candidate as outlined in the process flow diagram.

A copy of this declaration can be utilized by level 1 suppliers to complete External Directorship and Relatives & Relationships, however level 1 suppliers are welcome to use their own forms, if they choose to do so.

UBS will only require credit and/or criminal checks for a specific population of countries listed at the top of the form. To ensure that the appropriate vetting checks are undertaken, UBS business contacts will complete the Staff Vetting Supplementary Form which will inform you on the type of vetting requested: basic (without credit and/or criminal checks) or enhanced (incl. credit and/or criminal checks). More information can be found in the Country Specifications of the respective countries. Please request this completed form from your UBS business contact.

In exceptional circumstances, Regional Staff Vetting Operations Team may allow the candidates to start without vetting being completed. It is the UBS business contact to submit the complete exception request to Regional Staff Vetting Operations Team when raising an onboarding request. Every exception request will be reviewed on a case-by-case base and decision will be communicated to the UBS business contact.
