Latin America faces an important 2021 electoral year with a series of critical mid-term and general elections, as well as constitutional reform votes. The socio-economic consequences of the pandemic have left LatAm economies contracting around 8% in 2020 and about 40m more people living in poverty. For the region’s leaders, this year will be about guiding human, health, and economic recovery.
