Mona Sutphen knows more than most why women need to feel confident managing their money. Find out what she has to say about that in the video.

Mona's career has taken her to the top of global politics, finance and strategic insight. From 2009 to 2011, she was White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, under President Barack Obama. Before that, Mona served on the National Security Council at the White House. Today, she is a Partner in Macro Advisory Partners, which counsels corporate, investor and sovereign clients. Mona also serves on the boards of the International Rescue Committee, Human Rights First, Pioneer Natural Resources and DI Holding.

Despite moving in such high-profile circles, she says, "I'm struck by the number of women I know who are hugely successful but uncomfortable talking about money."
