The story behind the Danish fashion label is quite special. The company produces its clothes in a female prison in the Peruvian city of Cusco – giving the women new skills, motivation and a fair income: two of the biggest antidotes to crime and poverty.
Carcel's mission? To create 100% sustainable fashion using local natural materials and empower women by solving societal problems worldwide. Veronica and her team hope their concept will inspire others to make fashion a force for good.
