Overview

We offer active and passive investment strategies across a broad range of asset classes. We understand that each investor has their own distinct investment style and goals so we offer a variety of approaches, including stewardship, impact strategies and transition-focused strategies. We have a long history of integrating data science in our investment offerings as we seek to provide efficiency, innovation and alpha.

Our stewardship activities intend to support our overarching goal, to protect and enhance the value of our clients’ investment portfolios in line with our fiduciary duty. This means that we will pursue engagement objectives that seek to address issuer-specific risks and opportunities that we believe have the potential to affect long-term investment returns, and support well-functioning financial systems.

Our proxy voting in 2025

Voting rights have economic value and should be treated accordingly. We exercise voting rights on behalf of our investors to voice an opinion to a company on a broad range of topics, provide support to companies where appropriate as well as to highlight any concerns.

  • In all we voted at almost 12,000 company meetings on over 115,000 resolutions.
  • In 2025 we voted against management on at least one agenda item at 60% of the meetings voted.
  • Our voting policy Proxy Voting Policy covers the following:
    • Board roles and responsibilities, structure and independence, nomination and election processes, and board composition in terms of experience and perspectives
    • Shareholders rights
    • Capital management
    • Audit and risk oversight
    • Remuneration
    • General corporate governance and environmental and social matters

Thematic engagement

A key part of our approach to stewardship ownership is thematic engagement. We use thematic engagements to focus on specific social, environmental and governance themes where we believe these can support our investment decisions and help increase the likelihood for material outcomes.

  • Climate change
  • Natural capital
  • Human capital
  • Human rights
  • Safety and quality
  • Governance
