Debjani Raffan

Debjani joined UBS in 2005 as a Client Advisor, focussing on working with entrepreneurs and their families across Scotland. From 2021, she assumed responsibility for UBS’s Northern business, and she and her team in Edinburgh and Newcastle look after clients across Scotland, Northern Ireland, the North East and Yorkshire.

Debjani has worked in the financial services industry for close to 30 years in advisory roles and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds a Law degree from the University of Strathclyde . She is passionate about philanthropy and is a Trustee of the UBS Donor Advised Foundation, as well as being involved in fund raising for many charities. She is married with 2 children and in her spare time she can be found honing her skills as a chef as well as long-distance walking.

Client Advisors

Responsible for looking after your wealth management needs, client advisors help you with your wealth strategy, advise on investment products and assist you in pension planning. Andrew Sloan

Andrew joined UBS in 2025 and specialises in supporting entrepreneurial clients across Scotland. Andrew has a BCom (Hons) Business Studies & Accounting degree from The University of Edinburgh and professionally the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, holds the Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Diploma in Capital Markets. Outside of the office Andrew enjoys motorsport, golf and tennis and spending time with his family.

Greg Anderson

Since joining UBS in 2014 Greg has built up over 11 years’ experience in the Wealth Management industry, supporting clients with their long-term planning and investment strategies. Greg holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management diploma and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. In his spare time, Greg enjoys socialising and can often be found on Aberdour Golf Course.

Stewart Shaw, Client Advisor, Scotland, UBS

Stewart Shaw

Stewart joined UBS with over 9 years’ experience in the Wealth Management industry working in Hong Kong, London and Dubai. Prior to joining he previously worked at both Barclays and Deutsche Bank. He studied Economics and Finance at the University of Aberdeen and is a Chartered member of the Institute for Securities & Investment. Stewart’s weekends are usually spent on the touchline of a rugby pitch or he can be found the golf course.

Tom Gorman, Client Advisor, Scotland, UBS

Tom Gorman

Tom joined UBS in 2021 after returning to his native Edinburgh and has 20 years' experience in wealth management advisory roles in London, Geneva and Edinburgh where he has advised both domestic and international clients. He has a first-class honours degree in English Literature & German from the University of Edinburgh, holds of the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities & Investment. Tom's weekends are typically spent chasing after his two young children and following the success - or otherwise - of the Scotland rugby team.

Jack joined UBS is 2021 with over 12 years’ experience. Prior to joining he worked for HSBC Private Bank and Hargreave Hale before it was taken over by Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management. He holds the CISI Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification and is a Chartered member of the Institute for Securities & Investment. Jack enjoys outdoor activities in the Scottish Borders when away from the office.

Financial Planner

Financial planners work as specialists alongside your client advisor, providing bespoke financial planning advice. A team of planners and administrators support our financial planners, efficiently executing this advice, providing you with excellent client service, and offering access to other UBS resources. These resources can range from investment management to estate planning and corporate finance advice, in addition to specific wealth management products and services.

Sean O'Brien

Sean is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, with over 16 years of industry experience. He provides financial planning advice to high-net-worth individuals, trustees and entrepreneurs and since 2020 has been Head of Financial Planning for UBS in the UK. Prior to working at UBS, Sean started his career at a Transatlantic law firm.

Client Account Managers are an integral part of the team, providing you with most of your day-to-day administrative support including payments, transfers and trades.

Ann joined UBS as a Client Account Manager with 22 years' experience in the industry. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, keeping fit and travelling to hotter climates.

Hannah graduated from Queen’s University Belfast having studied English and Modern History. Hannah has most recently worked in retail management with the John Lewis Partnership having previously worked for American Express.

Lewis joined UBS in 2019 as a Client Account Manager. He graduated in 2016 from Heriot Watt University with a degree in Accounting and took part in NHS Lothian's first Finance Internship.

Hannah Philip

Hannah became a part of UBS in 2017, taking on the role of Executive Assistant. Her expertise extends across the regional offices and London teams, where she manages facilities, coordinates events, and provides comprehensive management support.

Graduate Training Program

Robbie Dool, Scotland, UBS

Robbie Dool

Robbie joined UBS as part of the UBS Graduate Training Program after graduating from the University of St Andrews with a Masters in Finance and Management. He currently holds the Investment Management Certificate and is studying towards the CFA. Robbie often spends his weekends meeting friends, watching football, and playing golf.
