UBS will exhibit at The Monument within the Great Pavilion in a publicly accessible large-scale installation RHS x UBS Moments of Reflection; and additionally offer financial support to four nurseries and growers to exhibit at the Show. Our selected group includes: Dibleys Houseplants, Green JJam Nurseries, Kevock Garden Plants and Lincolnshire Pond Plants.

Green JJam Nurseries
Established in 2008 as a small family-run nursery, Green JJam Nurseries has expanded over the years and reached significant milestones.
In the past few years, they have became involved with The National Penstemon Collection, assisting Pershore College with propagation and maintenance. They recently moved to a larger field near Upton Upon Severn to create a purpose-built nursery. This new space allows them to grow a wider range of plants, apply for a National Collection, launch an online shop, and plant a White Garden as part of The White Nursery.
The nursery’s key focus is sustainability, ensuring that plants are nurtured to maintain quality and expand the range confidently. Green JJam Nurseries has a diverse collection of plants that are nurtured to ensure quality, including perennials that are grown outdoors once established and penstemons that are kept dry in a glasshouse, ready for early spring planting

Kevock Garden Plants
Kevock Garden Plants is made up of a small team based in Scotland, growing a diverse selection of alpine, bog, and woodland plants sourced from around the globe. Their commitment to being environmentally friendly has led to them experimenting with natural alternatives to pesticides, such as nematodes and transitioning to peat-free growing practices, requiring the development of new compost recipes.
With social impact as a key focus, they are committed to creating opportunities for individuals facing workplace disadvantages, including those with disabilities, mental health challenges, neurodiversity, or challenging social situations. This in turn provides them with work experience and volunteering opportunities where they can be part of an integrated team working alongside skilled horticulturists and students. Following a not-for-profit model, Kevock Garden Plants reinvests all financial surpluses back into their business to support their mission.

Lincolnshire Pond Plants
Lincolnshire Pond Plants are a Lincolnshire based, family run pond plant growing business dedicated to providing quality pond plants grown within Lincolnshire or sourced from top quality providers. They offer a range of aquatic plants for ponds and tropical fish tanks and are heavily involved in local projects for new ponds and restoration of old ponds. This year at the Chelsea Flower Show, they will share the beauty of ponds and how plants are natural filtration systems, which is in line with their commitment to showing what future proofing can look like through the use of pond plants.

RHS x UBS 2024
In 2024, the RHS and UBS supported four nurseries and growers in their journey to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, to participate in an exhibit within the Great Pavilion. Our four selected nurseries were purpose driven, demonstrated sustainable horticulture, and were cohesively brought together at our installation RHS x UBS “A Day on the nursery: insights into life as a grower” through the theme of edible planting.
We are proud to have partnered with the RHS at their world famous flower show, and of how we worked together to provide insight into innovative garden design and sustainable horticulture.

Bloom or bust
Bloom or bust
It is dawning on the global community that biodiversity loss requires just as swift action as climate change. The urgent need for a more holistic approach to confronting it is expressed in the Global Biodiversity Framework’s goal of reversing biodiversity loss by 2030. Achieving this goal demands bold action.
