Your journey to UBS
Information
In the summer of 2024, we informed you about the merger of Credit Suisse with UBS and gave you an initial insight into the process.
Preparation
We will arrange everything for a smooth transfer and inform you in detail.
Transfer
Your banking relationship will be transferred. You will find information on the exact date and procedure in the corresponding letter.
Completion
After the transfer, your banking relationship will be fully transferred to UBS, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Amended terms and price lists
Please familiarize yourself with the contractual adjustments to your banking relationship. You can view the adjusted terms and the price lists for your products and services after the transfer online using the personal access code from our letter.
You can find the price lists in the chapter on amendments subject to right of objection.
This can happen if the iCloud Private Relay function is activated on your Apple device or the “Trackers and websites” function is activated in Safari. This prevents the system from recognizing your actual location. In such cases, you will be automatically redirected to this international UBS website.
To access the desired website, you can temporarily deactivate your tracker function:
Apple
Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Private Relay > Deactivate
Safari
Settings > Safari > Hide IP address > Select None or Tracker only (not Tracker and Websites).

Family members may have different products and/or be allocated to different client segments, which in turn will determine the time of the transfer.
Depending on how they have been set up, the banking relationships are managed separately from those of other family members and will therefore be transferred independently of one another.
No, after the transfer, the two relationships will be managed separately at UBS. You can make changes once the transfer has been completed, for example merge the different banking relationships. To do so, call your client advisor.
If you have closed an account before the transfer, the associated documents will not be transferred. You can download these in your Credit Suisse online and mobile banking before the transfer and for up to three months afterward. This applies in particular to tax-relevant documents, such as confirmations of deposits into pillar 3a products and final interest amounts for mortgages and accounts.
Contact us as soon as possible. We can help you to secure your accounts and prevent any further unauthorized access.
Change your passwords: update your banking applications and all associated passwords right away.
You can carry out your banking transactions as usual in Credit Suisse Online & Mobile Banking until the transfer, which we will communicate to you in good time by letter.
Once the transfer begins, you will continue to have access to Credit Suisse Online & Mobile Banking for a period of three months to download existing documents, but you will no longer be able to carry out any banking transactions.
Before, during, and after the transfer weekend, certain trading and execution services may be temporarily unavailable or only available to a limited extent. For further information, please contact your client advisor or call Welcome Support.
