London/New York, 18 September 2013 – UBS today announced that Juan Luis Perez will join the bank as Global Head of Research and Barry Hurewitz as Global COO of Research. Both Juan and Barry join UBS from Morgan Stanley in December 2013.
As Global Head of Research, Juan Luis will lead and manage the Investment Bank’s market-leading research function and contribute to enhancing UBS’s global research capabilities. Juan Luis will report into Andrea Orcel, CEO of UBS Investment Bank, and join the Investment Bank’s Executive Committee.
