How volunteering brings Switzerland together
UBS Helpetica has been matching nonprofit projects with volunteers for five years now. So far, 950 projects have been realized – from job interview training to restoring dry stone walls in the mountains.
How does UBS Helpetica manage to offer such a variety of projects? It’s simple: by inviting non-profit organizations and individuals to submit ideas for volunteer projects related to the environment, social issues, education and entrepreneurship. This has proven popular, with no fewer than 1,300 ideas submitted to the platform since it was launched.
For each project received, a panel of experts evaluates what it can do for the common good in Switzerland. If it meets UBS Helpetica criteria, the project is published on the Helpetica platform. Anyone wanting to volunteer can find a project that matches their interests on platform – and register right away.
