Rental deposit account

• For a rental deposit of CHF 10,000 or more, the tenant and landlord/management must sign the form by hand and send it by mail to the address printed on the form (UBS Switzerland AG, DMMKK, P.O. Box, 8098 Zurich). Digital signatures are currently not permitted. The rental contract guarantee can be printed out at the end of the opening process.

• First, you will receive confirmation of opening. You should then transfer the deposit amount to your rental deposit account. The credit advice will be sent to you and – if noted on the application form – also forwarded to the property management.
• The account is immediately active, and you can pay the rental deposit using the payment details in the confirmation of opening.
• You will find the payment details in the confirmation of opening.
• Payment is made to the account holder(s) / tenant(s) in accordance with the confirmation of opening.
  

You can pay in the rental deposit in three ways:

• At the post office counter
• Via UBS Digital Banking (Please note: the credit advice must not be deleted.)
• At any UBS branch in Switzerland (The deposit slip counts as the credit advice.)
  

• The credit advice will be sent to you within five working days of receipt of the deposit.

• Reorder the payment and make sure you enter the correct beneficiary and the correct IBAN.
