Overview

This website is designed to provide you with information about the vetting checks and process that will take place if you are onboarding staff (this includes your own employees and sub-contractor staff) to UBS.

Vetting checks that take place are subject to and in accordance with applicable local law and regulatory requirements.

Background

UBS aims to ensure that no external staff enters UBS premises and/or accesses its systems (including - but not limited to - infrastructure, data repositories, client records, employee records) giving rise to legal, financial or reputational risks. The security and integrity of the UBS systems, networks and information is paramount. Wherever possible, measures are put in place to avoid risk of damage to or misuse of UBS systems, networks and information. Vetting of all external staff is an appropriate measure to mitigate these risks.
