Colby attended Dulaney High School and RandolphMacon College, where she earned a BA in Business and Economics. She joined Morgan Stanley shortly after her graduation in 1997 as a Registered Sales Assistant. In 2002 she made the move to Legg Mason as a Retail Government Bond Trader before deciding to take time out of the business to
raise her children. Colby, her husband Josh, and two sons, Charlie and James,live in Towson.
