I grew up in Southern California, graduated from University of Redlands and Pepperdine School of Law. The highlight of my Redlands education was spending a semester studying European history, art and culture while living in Salzburg, Austria. After college, I spent a few years traveling and working for the Orange County Probation Department before heading to law school. I received my  lae degree in 1977. I practiced for five years with Dawson, Dawson and Freeman.  While we had good clients such as Shea Homes and Nordstrom's, I found that  it was not a fulfilling career for me.

I became a financial advisor in late 1983 when I started with E F Hutton.  My clients now include professionals, business owners and wealthy individuals and families located across the United States.  My practice is focused on being a comprehensive source of financial and investment advice to my clients.  I look back now over those 36 or so years with pride in how I've helped my clients live their livest to the fullest, educate their children and retire successfully.  That I guided many of these people through good times and bad and helped them reach their goals and live their dreams is a source of great satisfaction to me.  I now enjoy helping the children and  some of the grandchildren of my original clients.

I have been very fortunate to be able to spend part of my summers in Ketchum, Idaho where I enjoy fly-fishing (my favorite pastime), hiking, the Sun Valley Symphony and visiting with friends.

For fifteen years I have been on the Board or Directors  of Orange County Coastkeeper, a not for profit corporation, which is focused on protecting the water quality of our local ocean, bay, streams and groundwater.  Conservation of our natural resources is bery important to me.
