The prices and services correspond to those for the UBS Classic/Standard Credit Card.
With the UBS Optimus Foundation Charity Card, you show your commitment to a benevolent cause. UBS transfers 0.75% of your total credit card spending every year to the UBS Optimus Foundation, which supports projects that aim to improve the protection, education and health of children.
The UBS Basic Card is an easy means of payment if you use your credit card frequently and primarily in Switzerland. It is a secure, convenient way to pay for your day-to-day shopping.
The UBS Basic Card is free for the first year. It will continue to be free of charge in subsequent years if used regularly. If you use your card 24 times or more per year, the annual fee of 40 francs will be waived (waiver of 20 francs in the case of partner cards). Two purchases per month therefore suffice for you to benefit from a free credit card.
Unlike the UBS Standard Credit Card, the UBS Basic Card does not include travel and aviation accident insurance. The discount for car rental at Europcar is 10%. Use of the UBS Basic Card does not enable the accumulation of KeyClub points.
