Henry H. McVey (New York) joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. in 2011 where he is Head of the Global Macro and Asset Allocation team. Prior to joining KKR, McVey was a Managing Director, Lead Portfolio Manager and Head of Global Macro and Asset Allocation at Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM). Prior to that, he was a Portfolio Manager at Fortress Investment Group and Chief U.S. Investment Strategist for Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, he was also a member of the Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to becoming the firm's strategist, Institutional Investor distinguished McVey as the top-ranked asset management and brokerage analyst for four consecutive years. He is a board member of the TEAK Fellowship and a member of the St. Christopher's School and Lincoln Center Investment Committees.
McVey earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia, followed by an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
