New York, June 21 – Recently, UBS was awarded "Best Private Bank, Americas" for structured products at the 2019 SRP Americas Conference in Chicago. Eric Glicksman, Head of Structured Solutions for Global Capital Markets, Americas, accepted the award on behalf of UBS. Award finalists included Citigroup, Desjardins Group, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and UBS.

UBS was selected by an independent panel of judges convened and chaired by Structured Retail Products Limited (SRP), part of the Euromoney group of companies. SRP is a research firm based in London, New York, Hong Kong, and Sofia that focuses on all aspects of structured products.

Methodology

  • The finalist firms for the "Best Private Bank, Americas" award for structured products were decided by the annual sales (50%) and sales-weighted average performance data (50%) as in SRP's database for products maturing or expiring in the year ending February 28, 2019. The winner is then decided by an independent panel which took into account the submissions of the Private Banks and the volume sold, emphasizing the product innovation, understanding client needs and aftersales service. Neither UBS nor its employees pay a fee in exchange for these ratings.
